The Wallach Art Gallery is seeking a temporary Exhibition Coordinator who will play an integral role in the preparation for and production of exhibitions at the Wallach Art Gallery. The term of the position is anticipated to be a minimum of 8 weeks and may be extended, in accordance with need, for up to an additional 6 months. The incumbent’s primary responsibilities will be in the service of the annual MFA First-Year and Thesis exhibitions. The incumbent will also support the work of securing and coordinating loans for the upcoming summer 2026 exhibition, as well as handling loan requests for future exhibitions. In accordance with best practices established by the American Alliance of Museums, the position is also responsible for maintaining an accurate database of loaned objects, the administration of loans to exhibitions, shipping logistics, and condition reporting. Working under the supervision of the Director and Chief Curator, the incumbent will work closely with the Associate Director of Finance and Administration, the Exhibition Manager, and other professional staff, guest curators, and external contractors to realize the Gallery\'s presentation goals. Importantly, the Exhibition coordinator will work closely with the Exhibition Manager to oversee the installation and deinstallation of exhibitions.
