The position involves engaging directly with collectors and visitors, managing follow-ups and assisting with sales logistics. The ideal candidate is extremely professional, personable, detail-oriented and comfortable representing the gallery to clients and partners.Responsibilities: • Meet clients at the gallery and guide them through exhibitions and available works • Maintain and develop relationships with collectors, advisors and institutions • Coordinate sales inquiries, price lists and client follow-ups • Assist with exhibition openings, art fair preparation and private viewings • Ensure the gallery is organized and ready at all times • Be present at the gallery from time to time as needed and during key eventsQualifications: • Experience in art sales, gallery operations and client relations • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of contemporary and art and the art market • Organized, professional and comfortable in both administrative and social settings • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word) and managing PDF documents • Experience with art fairs and willingness to travel multiple times a year • Must have a clientele base • Curatorial skills preferred but not required Compensation:Hourly, commensurate with experience.Schedule:Part-time, remote position with flexible hours.Must be available to attend client meetings and gallery events as required.
