Contemporary fine art gallery located in the heart of SoHo is seeking a professional sales associate with strong closing history of \'walk-ins\' and of prospective & established collectors. In addition to promoting our artists and expanding our collector-base, the ideal candidate will:1. be available to work on weekends.2. demonstrate a history of meeting sales goals in a previous sales position.3. be able to close sales--ability to close sales is crucial for this position.4. possess a strong sense of fashion/dress appropriately for the role at all times.5. have well-developed writing and communication skills.6. have the capacity to at times engage in detailed-oriented administrative duties, as needed.Compensation is to be determined and based on experience. We are looking to fill a full-time position, but people with successful sales records could potentially be considered, if only available part-time.
