Leroy Street Studio’s holistic view of design integrates architecture, interior design, construction management, and community design into a sophisticated and collaborative practice. Leroy Street Studio is known for pushing boundaries in our residential practice as well as our municipal and participatory design work. We seek a talented individual to lead our Communications team. Position reports to Partners. Responsibilities: Manage a communications team of 2-3 people.Develop department budget in accordance with strategic plan. Plan and implement the social media strategy for both Leroy Street Studio and LSS Interiors. Create content for social media posts, articles, pitch books, presentations, and press releases.Monitor and report on social media engagement, SEO, and analytics. Oversee brand development and PR across media outlets including email blasts and newsletters, speaking engagements, and professional functions. Oversee development and maintenance of the website, project portfolios, and collateral materials. Assist with client relationship management, including privacy concerns.Assist with relationship management for partner organizations, trade groups, etc. Identify awards opportunities and oversee submission process. Manage outside consultants including professional photographers, graphic designers, and web developers. Coordinate and schedule professional photo shoots for completed projects. Collaborate with admin department on special events planning, including holiday cards and gifting, holiday luncheon, winter party, staff outings, etc. Lead communications efforts for Leroy Street Studio’s ground floor gallery space.Help manage marketing and business development functions in support of the firm\'s long-range strategy. Provide market research and business development support to Partners and Principals. Track the status of active pursuits and assist in the RFQ/RFP process and development of proposals. Qualifications: Undergraduate or graduate degree in architecture, communications, or similar field of study. 5-10+ years of communications experience within architecture or adjacent industry. Excellent writing and verbal communications skills. Must be a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Strong project management skills including organization, time management, and attention to detail. Strong computer skills, proficiency with Adobe Suite & Microsoft Office. Experience with digital asset management and CRM systems a plus.
