COMMUNICATIONS MANAGERLEROY STREET STUDIOLeroy Street Studio’s holistic view of design integrates architecture, interior design, construction management, and community design into a sophisticated and collaborative practice. We are a team of 65 designers and makers that put client needs at the center of the design process. Whether we are working on a residential project or a design-build installation in a local community, we are inspired by the process of transforming materials into meaningful and functional spaces and objects. Leroy Street Studio is known for pushing boundaries in our residential practice as well as our municipal and participatory design work. We are seeking a Communications professional to lead the department, facilitating strategies to share our initiatives, broaden our audience, and maintain internal organization. The role will also support the firm with long-term business development goals through marketing collateral and assist positioning for new project pursuits. This position reports to and collaborates directly with the firm’s Partners and Principals. Communications Responsibilities: Oversee brand development across media outlets including email blasts, newsletters, speaking engagements, and professional functions. Manage PR activities, coordinate with interested publications and strategize content. Develop, collect and organize content for articles, press releases, pitch books, presentations, and social media posts.Manage a communications team of 2-3 people.Manage outside consultants including professional photographers, graphic designers, and web developers. Plan and implement website and social media strategy.Oversee development and maintenance of the website, project portfolios, and collateral.Assist with client relationship management pertaining to communications collateral and secure permissions as needed. Maintain department budget established with Senior PrincipalsIdentify awards opportunities and oversee the submission process.Lead promotion of Leroy Street Studio’s ground floor gallery program.Provide regular reports to firm leadership on performance analytics of communications activities. Work with Partners and Principals on marketing and business development functions in support of the firm\'s long-range strategy. Qualifications: Must be a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.Undergraduate or graduate degree in architecture, art, communications, marketing or similar field of study. 5-10+ years of communications experience within architecture, design, art or an adjacent industry. Strong project management skills including organization, time management, and attention to detail. Excellent writing and verbal communications skills.Experience working with Publications and / or PR Teams Strong computer skills, proficiency with Adobe Suite & Microsoft Office. Experience with digital asset management and CRM systems a plus. Experience fielding, reviewing, and assembling responses to RFQ / RFP’s, a plusBenefits:Comprehensive benefits package including retirement savings and monthly flex days. Salary range, 100k-120k
