This is a full-time on-site position Monday through Friday.Registrarial duties include:Create and update entries in ArtlogicCoordinate local, domestic and international shipments Provide estimates for crating and shipmentsLiaise with art handlers, installers, photographers, and shipping companiesDraft and oversee consignment and loan agreementsProvide packing instructions and condition reports for all outgoing artworksCollaborate with the Fabrication department to coordinate the production of artworksSend certificates of authenticityMaintain and archive shipping documents including bills of lading and customs paperworkMaintain physical and digital Studio archiveOversee off-site storage facilitiesResponsible for own correspondence and administrationQualifications:Knowledge of contemporary art and art history requiredMinimum five (5) years of experience working in a registrar role at an artist studio, art gallery, auction house, or in logistics at a fine art shipping company preferred Prior working relationships with multiple fine art shipping companies (particularly in the New York-area) welcomedA strong knowledge of various artwork and fabrication materials and methods, as well as familiarity with general best practices in art handling and packing proceduresExperience conducting standardized condition reportsExperience in project management, including implementing and overseeing multiple projects with overlapping timelines and creating checklists from databases and spreadsheetsSkills in a Mac-based environment required, including: Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets) Intermediate to advanced experience with data management and databases; specific knowledge Artlogic preferredFluency in multiple languages welcomed
