Overview
We are seeking a cool, motivated, and customer-oriented Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while supporting the daily operations of our retail environment. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using Shopify POS systems.
- Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
- Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor and assist with restocking as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing inquiries and providing recommendations based on their needs.
- Utilize basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash register operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and organized store environment conducive to sales.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in-store.
- Availability to work Saturday and Sunday is a must.
