Sarah Jacoby Architect is a small New York based firm in Long Island City that primarily does residential work in the New York area.We are looking for a Studio Coordinator who is self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented to support a variety of tasks at our in-person studio. The range of responsibilities will include supporting some of the below tasks:Administrative: Helping with day to day operations of office space including materials library, office organization and supplies, calendar and schedule assistance. Assisting principal with assorted tasks.Business Development Support: Assisting in organizing and submitting proposals, final project documentation, and organizing final project imagery.HR/Accounting Support: Assisting with payroll, onboarding, reimbursables, and invoicing. Please note this is supporting the existing accounting infrastructure, rather than an accounting role. Project Administration: Supporting project architects and design staff in project archiving, and any administrative tasks.Candidates should have the following:Strong organizational skills, the ability to be autonomous, resourceful, motivated to learn new skills, problem-solving oriented, interest and/or experience in handling diverse tasks, able to exercise your own judgment but also willing to ask questions, and capacity to multi-task.We are especially interested in a candidate who is committed to the growth and development of our office.New York based, with an expectation of in-person work at our office in Long Island City.Legal authorization to work in the US as well as fluency and comfort in written and spoken English.Unfortunately we will be unable to respond to every applicant unless we request further information- but thank all applicants for their interest.
