Filmmaker, performer, and artist Lily Baldwin is looking for an admin and creative assistant to join her team. The assistant will attend to tasks such as media management, social media strategy, website updates, and general tech support. The position requires an eye for efficiency, strong attention to detail, and technical proficiency.Lily’s projects range across mediums, including documentaries, features, shorts, TV, podcasts, installation, and visual art. In addition to her studio practice, Lily is the founder of The Marrow Studio where she offers yoga for the creative process (using movement to free the creative mind) and other functional anatomy teachings. The assistant will need to work across these areas of focus, managing their own time and priorities, and taking initiative where necessary.Transparency, directness, and follow through are a must. Someone privy to the filmmaking and fine art industries with their feet in some combination of fashion/visual arts/dance/queer/tech are valued. Please note we are a flexible creative team – the ability to fulfill all of the above criteria is not mandatory for the right candidate. This position can be remote or hybrid in NYC, 10-12 hours per week for a guaranteed flat rate of $1000 per month. Potential to increase over time, commensurate with skill and experience. June start date. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to this schedule at least through to the end of the year, if not longer, with the capacity for expansion after the first few months. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Administrative & Organizational SupportProvide day-to-day administrative support, ensuring efficient workflow and operationsManage media storage systems (e.g. hard drives and digital archives)Update website(s) as needed using Cargo and/or WixContent Creation & Social Media Management (The Marrow Studio)Develop and execute social media content across platforms, including:Writing engaging, on-brand copySelecting and editing visual assetsCreating graphics using tools such as CanvaPlan and maintain a content calendar aligned with brand strategy and long-term goalsMonitor content performance and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and growthGrant Writing Research, identify, and track relevant grants, residencies, fellowships, and other funding opportunitiesPrepare, write, and edit compelling grant applications and supporting materialsCoordinate and submit applications in a timely and organized manner, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are metVideo Editing (Preferred not mandatory)Perform basic video editing, experience with Adobe Premiere preferredOpportunity to expand into more advanced and long-form video projects based on demonstrated skill and initiativeQUALIFICATIONS (preferred):Proficient in: AirTable, Google Suite, Dropbox, and Adobe Suite Experience working on the backend of websites such as Cargo or SquarespaceGraphic design savvyFluent with social media and branding strategiesExceptional attention to detailBachelor\'s degree or commensurate experience
