KAIA is seeking someone who is self-driven, to independently manage the New York showroom part-time at the New York Design Building (200 Lexington) and support sales and business development. This role requires someone confident in a client-facing, sales-driven environment, with a strong sense of responsibility.As KAIA continues to grow its presence in the United States, we are looking for someone motivated to contribute to a studio that operates ahead of its time, both creatively and operationally. KAIA is headquartered in London, with its studio and atelier in Munich, Germany.POSITIONSHOWROOM MANAGEMENT & CLIENT SUPPORTIndependently manage daily showroom operations, including opening/closing procedures, client reception, and maintaining a highly organized, refined spaceTake responsibility for ongoing upkeep, routinely checking all elements of the showroom and reporting to the Managing Director on any needs, replacements, or reordersAssist in showroom visits, client meetings, presentations, ensuring a seamless and thoughtful experienceSupport showroom eventsDocument showroom activity, installations, and client visits for digital storytelling purposes.SUPPORT SALES & CLIENT RELATIONSSupport New York sales through consistent outreach to architects, interior designers, and trade clients, including studio visits, networking, and relationship building with the goal of securing new projects and long-term partnershipsCoordinate catalog and sample drop-offs, at design firms Maintain persistent and thoughtful follow-up with clientsProvide regular updates and clear reporting to the Managing Director on outreach activity, pipeline, and progressREQUIREMENTSBackground in business / creative industry (design, architecture, interiors, or similar)Experience in sales or client-facing roles, with confidence in driving conversationsHighly reliable, responsible, and comfortable working independentlyStrong sense of professionalism Driven, proactive, and skilled in building relationshipsAligned with KAIA’s values of design, sustainability and integrityBased in New York City with three weekdays of availabilityAvailable to start end of May
