THE ROLEDigital Counsel is seeking a culturally attuned, editorially driven Digital Marketing & Editorial Content Intern to help shape how artists, institutions, non-profits, and mission-driven global brands show up in the world. This role is for someone who’s interested in crafting digital narratives, and deeply engaged with contemporary culture, attuned to the importance of the details, and excited to work across disciplines—from the art world to social impact campaigns.Qualifications include the ability to multitask, high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Google Documents is required, as is enthusiasm for engaging in various media and interdisciplinary projects in social media, communications, and digital marketing. Our marketing internship is a unique opportunity to grow a nuanced understanding of Digital Counsel’s relationships to key art world accounts and programming.WHAT YOU’LL DOSupport the development and execution of social campaigns, editorial, email, and web projects with the to synthesize key narratives for digital platforms.Assist with briefs and copywriting for pitches, editorial planners, emails, and web pages, case studies, and social media posts. Approach each post or series with curiosity—conducting your own editorial research, pulling references, and developing supporting materials such as moodboards and storyboards to guide visual direction and inform creative decisions. Schedule posts across social media channels such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.Clean and update shared marketing resources (Basecamp, Google Calendar, Status Tracker, and Global Connectors Tracker) regularly to ensure consistent information for all departmental teams.Research appropriate target audiences and update community databases, helping to prepare VIP mailing lists (Including influencer mailings).
