Twelve-month, full-time professional staff position responsible for coordinating special programs and partnerships. Builds and maintains relationships with faculty, staff, and administration at partner high schools. Coordinates collaborative opportunities between secondary and higher education instructors, counselors, or administrators to improve student participation and ownership of their education process and career and college planning. Serves as advocate for SUNY JCC by supporting existing program partners and cultivating new partner relationships.
- Manage the EARN dual enrollment program registrations and processes.
- Coordinate outreach to homeschool families.
- Manage College Connections instructor application process and new instructor onboarding.
- Coordinate new instructor orientation, faculty liaison meetings, and high school contact/counselor meetings.
- Assist faculty liaisons with professional development planning, as needed.
- Coordinate and lead advisory committees for programs, as needed.
- Coordinate annual College Connections events, including but not limited to, Teacher of the Year recognition, Students of the Year recognition, Speech Contest, and Art Show. Look for opportunities to recognize and highlight the work done through special programs and partnerships.
- Assist with registration processes for special programs and partnerships. Works with the Director of High School Partnerships to make improvements in the registration process.
- Become an expert user of registration software and work with third-party software vendors, as needed.
- Respond to questions and issues from students, parents, and program partners.
- Assist in connecting partners with maintaining and growing their course offerings.
- Oversee program tracking and data collection.
- Compile program and data reports for partners, with assistance from Institutional Research.
- Coordinate with Success Navigators on advisement materials for special program students.
- Work closely with the Registrar, Business Office, Advisement, academic departments, and other on-campus offices.
- Develop and maintain web and print materials for related programs, in conjunction with the Marketing department.
- Connect and communicate regularly with relevant program partners.
- Work closely with Success Navigators and other staff to coordinate orientations, information sessions, and related materials for better orientation of special program students to JCC systems and processes.
- Present on special programs and partnerships to high school students, parents, schools, and others, as needed.
- Travel as needed to program partner sites (high schools, training center, etc.)

Required: Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of two (2) years of professional experience. Exceptional oral and written communication skills and group presentation skills necessary. Ability to problem-solve and innovate. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. Competent with technology and knowledge or ability to learn commonly used software programs, including Microsoft 365. Ability to coordinate and develop complex documents; read and apply laws, rules, and regulations; write and deliver persuasive proposals/presentations; plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects. Ability to work effectively in a team. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Preferred: Program coordination or project management experience, including process/procedure creation and improvement. Marketing experience. Experience in a higher education setting. Experience in a secondary education setting.
