We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager / Controller to oversee daily office operations and manage financial processes for an office that provides invoicing and accounting services for 10+ client businesses. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.

Position Overview

The Office Manager / Controller will be responsible for managing office administration while overseeing all accounting functions, including invoicing, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily office operations and administrative functions
Oversee invoicing and accounts receivable/payable for 10+ businesses
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Coordinate with clients regarding billing, payments, and financial inquiries
Manage payroll processing and related filings (if applicable)
Work with external accountants, tax professionals, and auditors
Implement and improve office and accounting procedures as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Office Manager, Controller, or similar role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience handling invoicing and accounting for multiple businesses preferred
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
