We are currently hiring Site Superintendents who have experience working in public construction projects that are contracted with the state agencies like NYS MTA, Office of General Services, School Construction Authority, and others.
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to)
- Be the onsite supervisor in the project field site
- Supervise by providing work direction to all others on the field
- Establish effective and clear communication between office and field site
- Maintaining site safety is adhered to by use and insurance that the proper safety equipment and practices for safe installation are with OSHA compliance and adherence to corporate safety requirements and regulations
- Manage employee performance
- Continuing to inspect that work is being performed in accordance with scope of project and plans
- Understand both Customer and Subcontractor contract documents and execute scopes of work accordingly
- Manage crew time sheets
Qualifications
The scope of work will be physically located in Fishkill, NY.
Must be able to lift, bend, and move heavy items
1 year project management preferred
Experience with state agency projects is required
Must be able to read blue prints and plans
Must be able to drive
