Restaurant General Manager – Quick Service Restaurant

As a Restaurant General Manager, you handle a wide range of responsibilities and ensure that customers and team members always have a great experience. The Restaurant General Manager ensures a positive work environment, by developing people, managing team performance, and building a warm, inclusive, customer experience.
As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be ready to help with a variety of duties, working on the front lines to ensure a great working environment for team members and outstanding service for our customers.
- Assists in organizing and overseeing the business and schedules, ability to track and monitor labor from week to week.
- Excellent financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skill sets.
- Ensure restaurant standards are consistently improved in terms of housekeeping, merchandising, presentation, and service.
- Fosters hospitality relationships between employees, guests, clients, and vendors.
- Lead communication meetings with manager and team to ensure all plans are carried out.
- Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks.
- Ensures that the restaurant always looks clean, inviting, and adheres to brand standards.
- Supports the team to achieve Gross Profit Margin, Net Margin and Sales Targets.
- Demonstrates the ability to multi-task hard and soft skills, make sound decisions and resolve internal and external conflicts.
Job Requirements
- Must have 2+ years’ experience in QSR (quick service restaurant) or similar restaurant management operations.
- Previous F&B work experience with P&L competencies required.
- Food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Bilingual a plus.
- Ability to lead, train and develop a highly functioning team.
- Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
- Flexible and open schedule.
- The ability and willingness to bend, twist, and stand to perform regular job functions.
- Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Basic food safety understanding and practice.
- Ability to follow brand ambassador stewardship to ensure high standards and compliance.
