Job Summary
We’re looking for a strategic, energetic Sr. Manager, Brand Activation & PR to lead how Archtop Fiber shows up in our communities — driving advocacy, differentiation, and measurable subscriber growth through smart storytelling, standout local experiences, and high-impact partnerships.
This is a revenue- and ROI-focused role with strong local ownership. You’ll be the connective tissue between brand, community, sales, and public affairs — ensuring our investments in PR, events, and partnerships directly support subscriber growth and long-term brand equity.
Job Responsibilities
The Sr. Manager, Brand Activation & PR is responsible for unifying and executing our public relations, brand activation, social media, and government affairs communications. You’ll lead a team of Community Development Managers and partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Government Affairs, and Operations to deliver programs that drive awareness, advocacy, referrals, and sign-ups.
You’ll manage:

Public & Media Relations
- Lead Archtop’s PR strategy in partnership with our agency — locally and within the fiber/broadband industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local media, industry press, influencers, and community leaders.
- Draft press releases, op-eds, executive communications, and talking points; manage media outreach and interview prep.
- Proactively surface compelling stories that reinforce Archtop’s brand differentiation, local investment, and customer value.
Brand Activation, Advocacy & Community Execution
- Own the strategy and execution of local brand activations that drive awareness, advocacy, referrals, and subscriber growth.
- Lead and develop a team of Community Development Managers responsible for local events, sponsorships, and grassroots programs.
- Ensure local ownership at events, with a clear focus on revenue impact, lead generation, and conversion.
- Build and scale Brand Ambassador and referral programs that turn customers, employees, and partners into advocates.
- Expand relationships with civic, nonprofit, and social organizations to deepen community presence and credibility.
- Ensure consistent quality, brand alignment, and operational excellence across all local initiatives.
Revenue, Metrics & ROI Accountability
- Own performance metrics for local marketing investments, including event ROI, cost per lead, conversion, and subscriber impact.
- Partner with Sales to align field execution with goals and local opportunity.
- Continuously evaluate which programs, partnerships, and sponsorships drive the strongest return — and reallocate spend accordingly.
- Operate with a fiduciary mindset, treating local investments as revenue-driving assets, not just brand spend.
Social Media & Community Management
- Develop and manage the social content calendar with a strong emphasis on local relevance and conversion.
- Create and publish in-market content that highlights installs, construction progress, events, promotions, and community impact.
- Act as the “ears and eyes” of the brand in-market — monitoring sentiment, identifying issues, and escalating insights quickly.
- Track performance metrics and optimize content based on engagement, reach, and lead impact.
Government, Civic & Community Communications
- Partner with Government Affairs to support communication strategies with policymakers, municipal leaders, and community stakeholders.
- Develop collateral, newsletters, and presentations that support advocacy, education, and local engagement.
- Align messaging across policy, civic engagement, and brand initiatives to ensure a unified and credible voice.
- Provide rapid-response communications support during key legislative, regulatory, or community moments.
Competitive & Market Intelligence
- Serve as the local intelligence hub for brand perception, competitive activity, and market dynamics.
- Gather and synthesize insights from events, community conversations, social channels, and field teams.
- Regularly share competitive and brand insights with Marketing, Sales, and Leadership to inform positioning and strategy.
Job Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in communications, PR, brand activation, or community-focused marketing.
- Proven people leadership experience with accountability for execution and results.
- Strong storytelling and writing skills, with a strategic and conversion-minded lens.
- Experience with live events, grassroots marketing, partnerships, or community programs.
- Comfort owning metrics, ROI, and revenue-adjacent outcomes.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to balance strategy with hands-on execution.
- Experience in fiber, broadband, or subscription-based businesses is a plus.
