Cooper’s Daughter Spirits is a family-owned and operated distillery with a passionate team of 16—and we’re growing! We’re currently looking for a part time retail associate to join our team at our Farm Stand in Red Hook, NY. If you're enthusiastic, eager to learn, and a self-starter, we want to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Impeccable customer service
- A high level of organization and attention to detail
- Retail experience including upselling, conducting inventories, and ordering
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google sheets, Square POS, and Google docs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly, provide exceptional customer service, and share our story with them.
- Operate the point-of-sale system (Square) efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays by keeping the shop meticulously clean, organized, and visually welcoming with attention to details.
- Stock shelves regularly, monitor inventory levels, and assist with inventory management by utilizing a high level of organization (basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets required)
- Promote upselling by recommending complementary products or seasonal specialties to maximize sales opportunities
- Be comfortable and confident in checking IDs so customers can try our spirits and purchase bottles to go.
Compensation:
- $20 per hour plus $2 commission on each of our bottles sold.

- Weekend availability is required
- Shifts are Thursday-Monday
