Human Resources & EHS Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing Facility (Markesan, WI)
An international aerospace manufacturing company is seeking an HR & EHS Manager to lead both the Human Resources function and the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs for its facility in Markesan, WI. This role serves as a strategic and hands-on partner to plant leadership, overseeing HR operations, driving talent strategies, strengthening workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with all labor, safety, and environmental regulations. The position plays a critical role in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, compensation processes, safety management, risk prevention, and continuous improvement to support a safe, engaging, and growth-oriented workplace.

United States (Relocation to Markesan, WI provided)
Note: This is an on-site position located at our client’s manufacturing facility in Markesan, Wisconsin.
It is not a remote role; candidates must be willing to relocate and work physically on-site.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Safety Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
- Experience as an HR Manager in a manufacturing environment
- 10+ years of overall HR experience with progressive responsibilities
- 7+ years of combined HR and EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong understanding of U.S. labor laws, OSHA regulations, and environmental compliance standards
- Proven experience supporting a plant or operational facility
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics

Responsibilities – Human Resources:
- Implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives and legal requirements
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to meet organizational needs
- Develop and execute talent strategies, including career development and succession planning
- Provide guidance to managers on performance management, coaching, and employee relations
- Promote open communication to ensure employees feel heard and valued
- Drive employee engagement through recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and DEI efforts
- Utilize HRIS systems and analytics for workforce planning and decision-making
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal standards
Responsibilities – Environment, Health & Safety:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Provide training on workplace safety, emergency response, and environmental compliance
- Maintain documentation of safety programs, permits, and regulatory reporting
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across all departments
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate EHS considerations into operational planning
