We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including talent management, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by managing sourcing channels such as HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM), conducting interviews, and overseeing onboarding processes to attract top talent.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the company culture and understand company policies.
- Manage performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance effectively, facilitate employee evaluations, and implement performance improvement plans.
- Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, workers' compensation claims, and other perks while ensuring compliance with applicable laws such as OSHA and FMLA.
- Ensure adherence to employment and labor laws by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations like OSHA standards and labor statutes; manage audits and legal compliance documentation.
- Handle employee relations issues proactively by mediating conflicts, managing investigations, and promoting a positive work environment through effective conflict management strategies.
- Oversee payroll processing using platforms such as Paychex, ADP, Paylocity, or Dayforce; ensure accurate data collection and timely payments.
- Lead training & development initiatives to enhance employee skills through workshops, leadership development programs, and continuous learning opportunities.
- Manage HR program administration including HRIS data analysis (using tools like UltiPro or Ceridian), process improvement projects, and HR metrics reporting for senior leadership decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior leaders on strategic planning initiatives related to human capital management; support change management efforts during organizational restructuring or process improvements.
- Supervise HR team members to ensure efficient delivery of HR services; provide coaching on HR sourcing strategies and employee evaluation processes.
- Maintain comprehensive records related to contracts, benefits administration, workers' compensation claims, OSHA compliance reports, and other HR documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with a strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading HR teams or projects effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Extensive knowledge of employment law—including FMLA regulations—and OSHA standards to ensure legal compliance across all HR functions.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, UltiPro or Ceridian; familiarity with ATS systems like Taleo or Greenhouse is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor contracts related to benefits providers or recruitment agencies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences including senior leadership.
- Skilled in data analysis for workforce metrics using tools like Kronos or PeopleSoft to inform strategic decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities through effective organization design and process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of payroll systems such as Paychex or ADP along with budgeting capabilities for HR programs.
- Experience in training & development programs aimed at enhancing organizational capabilities; familiarity with change management methodologies is a plus. Pay: $58,918.93 - $70,956.13 per year
