Human Resources Manager
The Human Resources Manager is a strategic and operational HR leader responsible for overseeing core HR functions, driving people-centered initiatives, and supporting organizational goals through effective talent management. This role partners closely with leadership and employees at all levels to shape HR strategy, ensure legal and policy compliance, strengthen culture, and enhance workforce performance. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with deep HR expertise and a proven ability to lead in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational priorities.
- Lead workforce planning, talent development, and organizational design initiatives.
- Provide strategic guidance on HR policies, employee relations, compensation, and organizational change.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and SOPs remain current and updated.
- Deliver new hire orientation training, and update as needed to modernize and enhance new employees' experience.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, offering guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR policy interpretation.
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and improvement plans.
- Lead investigations, ensure consistent application of policies, and mitigate risk.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee HR systems, data integrity, and reporting processes.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs in partnership with finance and external partners.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HR operations.
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Desired Qualifications:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Proven experience with ADP Workforce Now.
- Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations.
- Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning.
