Healthcare Program Manager
The Healthcare Program Manager is a strategic leader responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing large-scale federal healthcare initiatives. This role ensures compliance with government regulations, drives operational excellence, manages cross-functional teams, and serves as a primary liaison with regulatory bodies, external partners, and senior leadership.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall execution and administration of the contract.
- Function as the primary point of contact for the Customer and attend weekly meetings.
- Provide critical input and coordination to meet the 24x7 scheduling requirements and monitor call-outs and backfills.
- Oversee and coordinate the security, credentialing, and on-boarding processes for new hires.
- Manage performance of work, contract compliance and quality control.
- Support recruiting, training, and retaining a qualified workforce.
- Attend and assist with external meetings, conduct site visits, communicate program metrics to stakeholders.
- Prepare contractor required reports, deliverables, and administrative documents.
- Provide oversight and responsibility for performance, verifying attendance and upholding the work requirements of all personnel assigned under the contract.
Required Education & Experience:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited university in Business, Healthcare, or related field of study.
- Minimum of 10 years administrative healthcare management experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly encouraged.
- Ability to meet and correspond regularly with a Government counterpart.
- Experience working directly with clients.
- Ability to exercise a great deal of independent judgment.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
