The 13-person team comprises a dynamic group of professionals with expertise across all areas of fundraising, including individual giving, corporate relations and strategic partnerships, special events, and foundation and government grants.BPL seeks a well-organized, proactive, and mission-driven professional to join its Strategic Partnerships team. The Associate is responsible for the organization and implementation of corporate and group volunteer opportunities working closely with BPL’s Volunteer Resources department. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Development, will manage more than 40 projects annually and engage over 500 corporate volunteers across Brooklyn.This is a full-time, non-union, exempt position. The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $75,000. A cover letter should be included with all applications.ResponsibilitiesManage BPL’s corporate volunteer program, responsible for the successful execution of 40+ service projects annually with participation from more than 500 corporate volunteersCollaborate across departments and branches to identify and coordinate high-impact volunteer opportunities that align with BPL programs in education, literacy, workforce readiness, arts & culture and public serviceServe as primary liaison for corporate partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication, responsiveness, and alignment with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goalsLead flawless logistics and on-site coordination for corporate service days, including scheduling, materials procurement and management, branch staff communication, facilities management and volunteer engagementTrack and report outcomes, maintaining accurate project data, volunteer numbers, budgets, and impact summaries for stewardship, grant reporting, and partnership developmentContribute to fundraising strategy, assisting with corporate prospect research, proposals, cultivation events, and recognition activitiesAssist in organizing and executing periodic events with prominent funder presence, as well as BPL branch openingsQualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum one to two of relevant experience in corporate engagement, volunteer coordination, event planning, fundraising, or CSRStrong organizational and project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsCustomer-service oriented responsiveness and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholdersComfort with public speaking and leading groups in both indoor and outdoor settingsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including availability for occasional evening and weekend eventsProficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; Salesforce or CRM experience a plusSome heavy lifting (items up to 20lbs) required Must possess high ethical standards and good judgment to effectively handle sensitive and confidential informationWe seek professionals dedicated to providing excellent customer service, developing fruitful partnerships in the community, and implementing programs aligned with our mission and vision.
