Pioneer Works is hiring a part-time Database Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and improvement of our Salesforce CRM and related systems (iWave, Stripe, Quickbooks, Docusign, and EventBrite). Reporting to the Development team and working closely with Operations and Finance, this role combines routine gift processing, tracking, and reporting with general ongoing support of our Salesforce environment. The Database Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders (Development team, Finance team, and PW leadership) and will communicate with external partners (PW funders, Board of Directors) as needed.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys data accuracy and system-building, and who wants to apply their skills in support of an innovative nonprofit arts organization.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary system administrator for Salesforce, handling user setup, permissions, and routine maintenanceProcess and record gifts and payments in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation with FinanceSupport the creation of new opportunities and campaignsPerform data sync with ticketing systems to accurately track and report event attendanceBuild and deliver reports and dashboards for department heads to guide fundraising, marketing, operations, and executive decisionsGather requests for improvements, evaluate feasibility, and implement changesAssist in identifying appropriate Salesforce apps and integrations; coordinate implementation with support where necessaryProvide basic Salesforce training and support for staff to grow organizational literacyMaintain documentation of Salesforce setup, workflows, and customizationsSupport organization-wide efforts toward centralized and accurate data architectureQualifications2 to 5 years of experience working directly with Salesforce in a non-profit organization (preferred)Familiarity with Salesforce automation tools (flows, validation rules, etc.)Experience managing basic Salesforce integrations (email, ticketing, payments, finance)Strong ability to clearly communicate technical information and provide effective training to a wide range of internal users with varying technical backgroundsAbility to problem solve, keen attention to detail, and flexible working style
