Chief of Staff, Operations Lead

The Chief of Staff and Operations Lead will serve as a strategic partner to the Ownership Partners and a key driver of operational excellence across the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing internal processes, and ensuring cross-functional alignment between departments. Acting as an extension of executive leadership, the Chief of Staff will support strategic planning, manage key initiatives, and help translate high-level goals into actionable plans.
This individual will work closely with department leaders to ensure clarity, accountability, and execution across all the restaurant, hotel, events and facilities. They will enhance operational procedures, improve information flow, and streamline processes. In addition, the Chief of Staff will play a critical role in internal communications, decision-making support, and assisting with ad hoc projects.
Reporting directly to the Ownership Partners, the Chief of Staff and Operations Lead will help drive focus, efficiency, and alignment at every level of the company.
Knowledge, Basic Skills and Abilities:
- Possess strong skills in organization and efficiency - PMP (Project Management Professional) certification encouraged but not required
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team leaders, coworkers, and the general public
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Possess self-motivational skills and hands-on management approach
- Possess impeccable service standards and attention to detail
- Adept in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Calendar, Quickbooks, Hot Schedules and Toast
Point of Sale (POS) system
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments as needed
- Seasoned hospitality experience within hotels, food service, and events management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as an ambassador for the company both on and off-site to promote a positive and beneficial atmosphere at all times
- Analyze and improve organizational process and workflow, employees and space
- Orientate and fully manage the on-boarding of all new employees
- Organize and manage the Master Company Calendar; facilitating open channels for all team members to naturally flow individual calendar appointments to the Master Calendar
- Responsible for integrating the monthly and annual facility maintenance schedules into Master Calendar
- Schedule and engage in regular and ongoing progress and triage meetings with Ownership Partners
- Maintain solid customer relations and aid in resolving issues with guests in a respectful and responsible manner
- Oversee customer review management and sign off on appropriate responses
- Systemize and aid in the management of the seasonal opening/closing of outdoor spaces
- Coordinate with hotel team and collectively manage the ongoing cleanliness of outdoor buildings and spaces
- Coordinate with the house event manager to arrange buyouts, sponsored parties, and special events
