You’ll setup and maintain an efficient Parts to Service counter. Staging parts for ServiceTechs, maintaining inventory. Constant improvement of knowledge pertaining to Harley-Davidson motorcycle Parts & Accessories is CRUCIAL!
Some details of what you’ll be doing daily as a Parts to Service Associate:
We have the savviest customers buy from us, so we expect you’ll…

Provide excellent customer service to all of the dealership’s customers and employees.
*
Handle telephone transactions quickly, and courteously.
*
Assist Technicians and or customers with determination of Parts and Accessories requirements and research merchandise in catalogues.
*
Accept cash & credit card payments for merchandise purchases. Keep cash register accurate..
*
Be prompt and available for flexible scheduling.
You'll also be cross-trained for shipping & receiving. Should there be an issue with a part, we need you to be able to track down, return, or ready to warranty that item.
Parts Counter training: As a back up to our frontline parts counter, you'll also be trained on the point-of-sale system -which you'll be familiar with from Parts to Service and Shipping training.
You’ll work with the best (and highest trained) techs in the market, so we expect you to…

Work with our Service Technicians and ensure their Parts and Accessories needs are being met.
*
Assist service technicians in determining parts & accessories requirements for individual jobs.
*
Recommend related Parts and Accessories, which may be required for a job.
*
Supply cost of parts information on repair orders.
*
Maintain cleanliness of Parts to Service counter and keep inventory neatly stacked and orderly.
Here’s some of what we need from you…
*
Knowledge and experience with servicing of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
*
Experience with Point-of-Sale & computerized inventory systems or the ability to quickly learn.
*
Knowledge of motorcycle front end, suspension, and engine components and the commitment to continually develop knowledge.
*
Ability to look up parts and quote prices for parts using proper catalogue for particular motorcycle.
Other things (that are kinda important too) that we are looking for…
Motorcycle License (We ‘are’ a motorcycle dealership after all…)
Ability to move an 800 LB motorcycle, if need be.
High School Diploma – some college a plus!
Great ‘people’ skills – or willingness to learn some!
Great verbal skills – or willingness to learn some!
Ability to take online scheduled courses, possible offsite training in the future.
