Maintenance Manager
Behavioral Health Treatment Center
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Our residential treatment center in Kingston, NY is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Manager to oversee the daily maintenance, safety, and operations of our treatment facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for both staff and clients.
We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong facilities management experience, excellent problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and daily operations of the facility and grounds
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
- Supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and outside vendors
- Coordinate repairs, installations, and facility improvement projects
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable regulations
- Manage facility-related budgets and maintain cost-effective operations
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, warranties, repairs, and equipment inventory
- Troubleshoot issues involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in facilities management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in facilities management, maintenance supervision, or a related field required
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Experience with both high-voltage and low-voltage systems preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience working with automation systems or logic controllers is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
Schedule
- Full-time - 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Monday–Friday
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
