We're looking to hire a Warehouse Manager to oversee a team of 10 employees responsible for processing and packaging large volumes of orders as they come in. The Warehouse Manager oversees the timely and accurate order processing and tracking while conducting regular inventory counts and issuing shipment reports. Candidate will be required to plan and monitor the workflow of team members, regularly review order processing and make adjustments as needed, and identify new methods of improving efficiency within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper flow of inventory through the warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment
- Assign employees jobs
- Analyze and adjust operational procedures to reduce warehousing costs
- Make decisions to best suit the needs of the company
- Follow safety protocol
Qualifications:
- Have a minimum of five years experience in a warehouse environment
- Forklift experience required
- Proven experience as a warehouse manager or similar role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with warehouse management software and systems
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the transportation and logistics industry is a plus
