The Rochester Educational Opportunity Center (REOC), part of SUNY Brockport, and located in downtown Rochester, is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time, temporary teaching positions as needed.
Essential Functions:- Teaches assigned Career & Technical courses or programs
- Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate
- Produces effective course materials
- Achieves student learning outcomes
- Grades and provides feedback to students in a timely manner
- Submits student attendance and grades via Banner by due date
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university, or an appropriate level of experience in the Career & Technical field, along with the necessary credentials or licensure
- Training, teaching, and/or mentoring experience working with culturally diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in the field or closed related field
- Significant teaching experience
