Job Summary
Bloom Fine Gardening is a design driven landscape company based in the Hudson Valley. We specialize in refined residential gardens and are expanding into custom waterscapes and outdoor living environments.
We are seeking a creative, organized, and visually driven individual to document our work throughout the season and manage our social media presence. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to capture beautiful outdoor spaces and translate them into consistent, engaging content.
This is a part time, flexible role with a mix of on site photography and remote content management.
Responsibilities
- Visit project sites to photograph and capture video of installations, gardens, and seasonal changes
- Edit and organize photo and video content for ongoing use
- Manage posting and scheduling through FeedBird 2 to 3 posts per week across Instagram and Facebook
- Develop simple, cohesive content themes that reflect our brand and projects
- Write captions that align with our tone and attract local, design focused clients
- Maintain a consistent visual standard across all posts
- Collaborate with the owners to identify key projects and moments to highlight
Qualifications
- Strong photography and/or videography skills (portfolio required)
- Good eye for composition, lighting, and design
- Experience creating and managing Instagram and Facebook content
- Strong writing skills with attention to tone and detail
- Organized and reliable with the ability to manage a content calendar
- Based in or near the Hudson Valley with ability to travel to job sites
- Interest in landscape design, architecture, or outdoor spaces preferred
Compensation
$20.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on experience
