Who we're looking for:
We’re looking for a kitchen professional who will join our cooks in running all aspects of the kitchen, plus assist in FOH and customer service. Seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic person who takes pride in their work, is committed to excellence and delivering a consistent, high quality experience, and can understand the significance of community at Golden Russet and become an integral part of it.
This is a stable, part-time position with mostly daytime hours. Weekends are required, however there is some flexibility if a weekend is occasionally needed off. Opportunity to become a full-time role with salary and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Prep for entire menu, plus ensure made-to-order food is executed in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area that meets food safety standards
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and inventory awareness
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with customers by answering phones, taking orders, and answering questions
- Assist team in all cleaning tasks, from washing dishes and emptying trash to bathroom checks and line sweeps
- Stock inventory and walk-in appropriately
- Take ownership of and pride in your work
Experience:
- Experience as a line cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to replicate dishes accurately
- Excellent hospitality skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
