Our utility client is looking for a Quality Assurance & Test Analyst / System Integration Test Lead for a long-term GE ADMS Upgrade program (multi-year project through 2028)
This is a high-priority enterprise utility transformation initiative involving migration from legacy OMS/ADMS (v3.11) to GE ADMS 16.x, with 10+ system integrations, parallel operations, and full SIT ownership.
Role Details
- Location: Onsite 4–5 days a year- mainly remote role but they want candidates like no more than 2 hours away
- Duration: Long-term multi-year contract
- Employment: CLIENT WILL NOT SPONSOR
- Start: Immediate / ASAP
- Interview: Video + onsite key meetings
Must-Have Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE)Candidates must have:
- GE ADMS experience (v3.11 or higher) OR strong OMS/ADMS utility system experience
- Hands-on experience in large-scale System Integration Testing (SIT)
- Experience with legacy to modern ADMS migration projects
- Exposure to parallel operations (legacy vs new system comparison testing)
- Experience owning test case creation, execution, and RTM
- Strong experience with defect management (JIRA / QMetry / ALM / qTest)
- Ability to coordinate across Dev, BA, Ops, and vendor teams (GE coordination required)
- Experience in integration-heavy environments (10+ interfaces/systems)
- Strong understanding of test planning, execution, and regression testing
Nice to Have (Strong Plus)
- Performance testing exposure (load, stress, pre-production validation)
- DevOps / Kubernetes / CI-CD awareness (ADMS 16.x modernization context)
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) experience
- Utility / grid operations domain experience
- Experience with GE tools / ADMS upgrade programs
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end System Integration Testing (SIT)
- Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and RTM
- Execute and validate integration + regression + UAT support testing
- Manage defect lifecycle and coordination with GE and internal teams
- Support parallel run validation (legacy vs new system comparison)
- Ensure test readiness prior to go-live and cutover activities
- Work closely with test coordinator and leadership teams for execution tracking

- This is a high-complexity utility modernization program
- Candidates without ADMS/OMS or equivalent utility grid experience will not be considered
- This is not a general QA or automation role
- Strong communication and hands-on execution required
