The Elka Park Club is hiring a hands‑on, hospitality‑driven Business/Front‑of‑House Manager to lead seasonal operations. This role oversees membership communications, dining and bar service, staff management, events, and day‑to‑day club operations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage membership communication, invoicing, and reservations
- Lead FOH & bar staff hiring, training, scheduling, and nightly service
- Coordinate menus, events, and service flow with Chef and BOH
- Oversee POS setup, menu updates, nightly reporting, and inventory
- Send weekly promotional emails and support club wide communication
- Assist with bar and dining service as needed
- Maintain QuickBooks records, weekly payroll, and tip distribution
- Prepare season‑end reporting and oversee clubhouse opening/closing
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in hospitality, FOH/restaurant management, or club operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills
- Comfort in a hands‑on, fast‑moving service environment
- Experience with POS systems and QuickBooks a plus

The Property:
The Elka Park Association was founded in 1889 as a summer community in the Catskill Mountains of New York. It consists of 1000+ acres of woodland including Spruce Top Mountain. 20 historic cottages are situated in the community, as well as a clubhouse, pool, tennis courts, and lodges. Tree covered country roads meander throughout the property along with historic stone walls, walks, a stone bridge, and a stone tower. The clubhouse has just undergone renovation including an entirely new commercial kitchen.
This seasonal position, from Mid-June to Labor Day, offers the applicant a partial week work schedule to enjoy a relaxing summer in the Catskill mountains.
Weekly Service:
Thursday Night Dinner (25-50 guests)
Friday Night Dinner (25-50 guests)
Saturday Formal Dinner (50-75 guests)
Compensation:
$1150 weekly salary.
Full summer housing in a lodge room on-site.
Full use of facilities, including pool, tennis courts, and woodland trails.
Potential access to summer camp for applicants with children.
