About the Role:
The Unit Manager (LPN or RN) plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of a healthcare unit within Meadows at Brookmeade This position ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care by coordinating nursing staff, managing resources, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The Unit Manager acts as a liaison between patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote a supportive and efficient care environment. They are responsible for implementing policies, monitoring patient outcomes, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:

Current and valid NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Valid BLS/CPR certification

Clinical nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or long-term care setting.

Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within a healthcare environment.

Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.

Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare documentation systems.
Responsibilities:
