Duties
- Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
- Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented.
- Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first mindset are essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions confidently.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in fast-paced environments such as grocery stores or retail outlets.
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening, are vital for success in this role.
