ASATI is looking for a Working Tent Production Manager — a hands-on leader who is comfortable running the shop and stepping onto the floor to weld, troubleshoot, and support the team when needed.
This is not a desk-only role. We are seeking someone who understands structural fabric fabrication, can operate RF and hot air welders confidently, and leads by example.
Job Location: East Worcester, NY
What You’ll Do
· Oversee daily production of tents and custom fabric structures
· Operate and troubleshoot RF welding and hot air welding equipment
· Work directly with cutting, welding, and finishing teams
· Maintain production schedules and hit project deadlines
· Review shop drawings and fabrication details
· Ensure consistent quality control standards
· Improve workflow efficiency and reduce material waste
· Train and mentor fabricators on best practices
· Enforce shop safety standards
What We’re Looking For
· 5+ years in tent, awning, or structural fabric manufacturing
· Strong hands-on experience with RF and hot air welding
· Experience working with PVC and structural membrane materials
· Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
· Leadership mindset with a team-first attitude
· Comfortable balancing production management with shop-floor involvement
