Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operation of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of service technicians and advisors to achieve performance goals
- Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
- Implement upselling strategies to maximize service opportunities while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Ensure accurate auto estimating, service writing, and documentation of all repair orders
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies; handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Stay current with automotive industry trends and technical advancements to support technician training and development
Requirements
- Proven experience in dealership or automotive service management with strong leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Hands-on mechanic experience preferred; familiarity with transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, alignments, suspensions, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts is essential
- Strong background in auto estimating, service writing, and automotive repair processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
- Ability to upsell services ethically while maintaining customer trust
- Experience with auto body repair processes and systems such as air brake systems is advantageous
- Proficiency in cash handling and administrative tasks related to dealership operations
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications are a plus

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
