We\'re seeking a music-savvy professional to join our team as a Program Developer or Program Developer Assistant, with the potential to grow into the role. You\'ll be the vital connection between DCINY and performing ensembles worldwide, researching and engaging choral directors, instrumental conductors, and ensemble administrators to participate in our concert series. This is a relationship-driven, quota-based position for someone who deeply understands the transformative power of performing at the world\'s greatest venues. What You\'ll DoDiscover and connect with choral and instrumental ensembles worldwide, introducing them to DCINY\'s concert opportunitiesBuild relationships through research, outreach (calls and emails), and personalized communication with music directors and performersSupport concert programming by coordinating with guest conductors, ensembles, and artists via phone and email communications.Manage client relationships using Salesforce and internal systems to track communications and opportunities, including but not limited to: updating contact information through research of past, current, and new leads, tracking progress of leads to inform concert development and sales goals, logging calls and emails, and comparing research to the existing database of clients.Supporting Development Staff\'s target sales goals (ie, finding leads for specific concert offerings, scheduling calls with them and potential clients, etc).Represent DCINY at concerts and special events, sharing your enthusiasm for our missionProvide exceptional service through professional phone and email correspondence What We\'re Looking ForEssential:Education: Bachelor\'s degree in music, music administration, arts management, or related fieldExperience: 1-2+ years in client relations, sales, program development, or ensemble administration (for Developer role); entry-level considered for Assistant positionGenuine passion for classical music and live performance (choral music knowledge a plus!)Strong communication skills and a natural curiosity about people and musicExceptional organizational abilities and attention to detailCollaborative spirit and ability to thrive in a dynamic environmentBackground We Value: Experience traveling with performing ensembles; firsthand understanding of the life-changing impact of performing at a prestigious hall like Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center; knowledge of the choral/instrumental world from an administrative or organizational perspectiveEssential Skills: Outstanding communication, active listening, and relationship-building; comfort with phones and client-facing interaction; excellent organization and attention to detail; ability to work independently and meet performance goalsTechnical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Salesforce (or willingness to learn)
