This individual will liaise with all departments to provide strategy and planning across multiple arts and attractions accounts. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Arts & Culture, the Account Manager is a full-time, exempt position that is based in New York City.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Support Account and Group Directors in delivering excellent client service, ensuring that all client requests are handled in a timely manner, aiming for same-day response. Manage all project timelines to ensure prompt delivery of campaigns through completion with multiple teams and workflowsEstablish and maintain excellent relationships with clients and external stakeholders to ensure excellent perception of AKA and our work within the industry. Translate briefs into action to disseminate internal teams, monitor progress throughout the agency, and ensure timely delivery.Partner with Creative Studio to promote efficient and streamlined collaborative work across departments.Assist in running effective client meetings with a prepared agenda, ensuring that clear goals and action items are agreed, and outstanding items have appropriate follow-up. Ensure weekly billing takes place on your accounts and support Account Directors or Lead in managing budgets.Anticipate peak periods and potential workflow issues, managing up to Account Directors or leadership team with recommendations and solutions to manage your workload. WHO WE\'RE LOOKING FOR:3-5 years of experience as a client account executive or related role (ideally servicing the arts, culture, destination, and entertainment industry).Ability to manage client relationships and expectations.Can anticipate and deliver against client needs.An entrepreneurial spirit; proven record for being a self-starter, proactive, and the ability to work autonomously.A natural problem-solver.Someone who can lead and drive projects forward on behalf of our clients.Understands and delivers against financial goals. Knowledge of local NYC and global ticketed events and attractionsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS PowerPoint and Excel, and Adobe.Knowledge of Asana a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.WHAT WE OFFER:The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $66,300 to $84,999 per year.The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and years of experience.
