The Enrichment & Lifestyle Associate provides personalized, one-on-one enrichment and personal support services to older adults in their homes. This role is focused on enhancing mental engagement, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life through meaningful, individualized activities and companionship.This is a non-medical position. The Associate does not provide clinical or health care services, but instead helps clients remain socially engaged, organized, and supported in their day-to-day living.Enrichment & EngagementPlan and deliver individualized activities that stimulate cognitive, creative, and social engagement (e.g., memory games, art, reading, music, conversation).Adapt activities to align with the client’s strengths, interests, and abilities.Personalized In-Home SupportProvide assistance with everyday organization, such as scheduling personal appointments, managing correspondence, or coordinating household tasks.Help maintain a safe and orderly living environment (light household support, scheduling of service providers, reminders).Emotional & Social SupportBuild strong, trusting relationships that foster companionship and reduce isolation.Provide consistent social interaction and encouragement.Communicate with family members or care partners to keep them informed about engagement and progress.CollaborationWork alongside family members and non-clinical care team members to ensure clients receive well-rounded support.Share updates and document client participation in enrichment activities.QualificationsBackground in gerontology, psychology, social work, adult education, memory care, occupational therapy, or related fields preferred.Experience working with older adults, especially those experiencing cognitive changes, is strongly valued.Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.Creative, adaptable, and comfortable designing individualized enrichment activities.Strong organizational and communication skills.Able to work independently in client homes with professionalism and reliability.Learn more about ushttps://health-sense.org/
