BOFFO Part-Time Marketing & Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a holistic marketing & communication strategy that promotes BOFFO residencies, festivals, exhibitions, events, programs, and overall organization identity across various channels, including digital platforms, traditional media, and public relations, by crafting compelling narratives, managing media relations, and collaborating with internal and external teams to maximize audience engagement and reach. Identify target audiences and tailor messaging accordingly. Monitor industry trends and adapt communication strategies to stay relevant. Content CreationWrite press releases, artist biographies, exhibition descriptions, and other marketing materials. Create engaging content for social media platforms, website, and e-newsletters. Develop compelling visual storytelling through photography, videography, and graphic design. Media Relations w/ PR AgencyCultivate relationships with journalists, art critics, and media outlets. Pitch stories and secure media coverage for exhibitions and events. Respond to media inquiries and manage crisis communications. Digital MarketingManage and update the organization\'s website and social media presence. Develop targeted digital advertising campaigns. Analyze website traffic and social media engagement to optimize strategies. Public EngagementCoordinate communication of public events and outreach programs. Develop community partnerships and collaborations to bolster communicationsCoordinate delivery and installation of physical posters, banners, and postcards. CollaborationWork closely with curators, artists, development staff, and programming staff, Executive Director, and Board to align communication efforts.
