SRS is hiring for full time Assistant Store Manager positions at ShopRite Supermarkets in Dutchess County, New York. Pay Range $29.80-$40.86 per hour
What you will be doing:
- Manage all aspects of assigned departments and maintain responsibility for full store operations, including but not limited to store opening and closing procedures
- Evaluate assigned business area(s) and develop plans to improve profitability
- Assist in the coordination, implementation, and execution of sales, merchandising, promotional programs, and operational standards for assigned departments
- Teach, coach, and develop Associates on an ongoing basis
- Resolve Guest and/or Associate concerns
- Ensure department sales, profit margin, and shrink meet or exceed budget
- Ensure compliance with outlined safety policies & procedures, as well as Federal, State, and Local health regulations
- All other duties are based on business needs
Qualifications include:
- Retail management experience preferred
- Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong communication, delegation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and situations
- Flexible availability
- High School Diploma or GED
