Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Job Summary:

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and medications as prescribed by physicians
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Lead and manage a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects
Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Requirements:
Current RN license in the State of New York
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and inspire team members
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
