Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and hands-on Regional General Manager to oversee daily operations and provide leadership across our three Hudson Valley locations. This role is responsible for supervising and supporting Shift Leads ensuring smooth store operations, staffing consistency, product quality, and exceptional customer experiences across all locations. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a keen understanding of hospitality who thrives in a fast-paced, food-focused environment and is excited to grow within a values-driven company.
Responsibilities
- Operations Oversight
- Ensure consistency and excellence in product quality, service standards, and cleanliness across all locations
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly operational goals and KPIs
- Typical on-site schedule 3 days in Poughkeepsie, 2 split between Kingston and Woodstock
- Troubleshoot issues and support locations as needed
- Team Management & Development
- Directly supervise and mentor Shift Leads at each location
- Responsible for maintaining staffing levels, leading hiring and onboarding as needed, as well as on-going training and performance reviews for team members
- Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture
- Scheduling & Labor Management
- Create weekly staff schedules
- Manage time-off requests and attendance policy compliance
- Monitor labor costs and optimize staffing based on business needs
- Inventory & Supply Chain
- Work with Shift Leads to manage inventory ordering and par levels
- Ensure each location is properly stocked and operational
- Health, Safety, & Compliance
- Enforce food safety protocols, local health department and HR regulations
- Conduct regular location visits and audits
- Reporting & Communication
- Regional General Manager reports directly to owners
- Clearly communicate company changes and updates to direct reports
- Provide regular updates, insights, and feedback to leadership in weekly meetings
- Implement new systems, menu changes, and seasonal rollouts across all locations
Requirements
- Experience in multi-unit management, ideally in a fast-casual, café, or bakery setting
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams
- Entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Comfort working early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to travel between Woodstock, Kingston, and Poughkeepsie regularly
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
