: Responsibilities:

The Salesforce Development Manager leads activities of IT personnel responsible for the design, development, implementation, integration, and maintenance of Salesforce and related systems. You will direct the day-to-day operations and be responsible to provide guidance and leadership to the team as they lead multiple projects/activities and provide service to various business units. This position will consult with business staff to develop an understanding of the varied and complex business needs supported by responsible systems and determine how changing business needs will affect these systems. Will look at Lead Salesforce Developers. Must have experience managing people with setting goals, writing/giving performance reviews, and performance management of resources, mentoring/coaching of resources. Experience with budgets, reviewing vendor SOW/proposals, managing 3rd party vendors is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

Lead a team of Information Technology professionals that are responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications systems
Provide guidance and leadership to the team as they lead multiple projects and provide service to internal business customers on a timely manner
Communicate with various Information Technology teams and business unit management to keep everyone up to date on the status of all activities thus ensuring that the business specifications are met and delivered on time
Provide technical, strategic, and tactical consultation to internal business customers
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Prepares time and cost estimates
Reviews and evaluates work and prepares performance reports
Consults with IT teams to coordinate activities
Works with third party vendors that provide both customer and internally facing applications and services
Ensures software release quality and that customer expectations and milestones are met, provides options/workarounds when issues are encountered; escalates when required
Adheres to all SDLC requirements, PMO standards, and incident management processes and procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or related field plus 7 years of experience (as described below) is preferred – OR - 10 years of comparable work experience
7+ years of experience developing Salesforce Applications
5+ years of leading application development or maintenance programs
3+ years leading Information Technology professionals
OmniStudio/Vlocity and/or Insurance Industry experience is a plus
Salesforce Application Development Certifications are preferred
Prior functional experience as a software developer, business analyst, and/or project manager
Exhibits strong experience with DevOps process including git, branching strategies, deployments
Strong understanding of technology and business process
Ability in interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements
Strong proficiency with both Agile and Waterfall/SDLC methodologies
Ability to deliver presentations of complex information to a variety of audiences
Able to plan requests, project charters and provide updates for managers, directors, and executives
