Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and have experience in administrative functions, human resources, and medical office management. This role is essential in ensuring efficient office procedures and providing support to staff while maintaining a positive work environment.

Duties

Maintain organizational systems for files, records, and documentation.
Handle phone etiquette with professionalism, managing incoming calls and inquiries effectively.
Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation records.
Manage medical office management tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with clerical duties and administrative processes.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Woodstock Manor Community Residence (WMCR) is a level-II Congregate/Support Facility licensed by the NYS Office of Mental Health. We are located in Lake Hill, NY, just outside of Woodstock, NY.

We are a very stable and peaceful environment. Our residents are wonderful and you must be too.

The hours are somewhat flexible and you may chose 30 or 40 hours a week.

Individuals with an interest or experience in human services, psychology, counseling, sociology, nursing, creative arts, or related fields are strongly encouraged to apply.
