We are hiring for a Sales Associate position which includes counter sales, prepping and assisting the Chef Manager with cooking. This is a part time position between 15-20 hours/week. The ideal candidate has work experience in customer service, prepping and cooking as needed, and is comfortable interacting with customers in a friendly, easy and professional manner. Ability to work in harmony with a small team is a must. Should be comfortable with using social media for work including posting on Instagram Stories and occasionally making reels. Any art and graphic media skills a plus!
We are willing to train the right candidate, but some relevant experience is a requirement.
Saturdays and Sundays needed.
Responsibilities:
- Managing cash register and counter sales
- Customer service
- Posting on Instagram -Stories & Reels
- Food prep
- Cooking as directed by Chef Manager
- Organizing retail merchandising
- Keeping a clean sales floor
- Cleaning and organizing prep and counter areas
- Stocking merchandising refrigerators and freezers
- Taking out trash
- Cleaning and washing cooking equipment
- Sweeping and mopping.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lb bags of produce/ingredients
- Must be able to work on your feet for 4-6 hours
- Must be able to go up and down stairs several times.
Other requirements:
- Must like working in a small team and have a friendly demeanor
- Must be able to work independently
- Professional and clean
- Food safety knowledge preferred
- Punctual and reliable
