We seek an Assistant Director, Corporate Relations & Sponsorships who will oversee sponsorship servicing and activation for the department and organization, with an emphasis on hospitality/events, relationship management, and fundraising strategy. The position will manage activation for roughly 15-20 sponsor relationships including sponsors of Carnegie Hall’s season, festivals, individual concerts, donor events, galas, and other aspects of Carnegie Hall’s performance presentations, music education and social impact programs, and digital initiatives.Responsibilities: Sponsor hospitality management, including day-to-day implementation of:multi-year ticket planning for each sponsorsponsor ticket requests, changes, fulfillment with ongoing hard deadlinesmanaging the pipeline of sponsor eventsproject managing sponsor events/activations, including pre-/post-concert receptions and bespoke eventsadvising sponsors on private event planning and hospitality, and overseeing the execution of bothleading and managing cross functional teams as the senior point of contact across various internal departments to ensure smooth execution of projects and events, including serving as the main liaison between sponsor and on-site caterersattend sponsor events to coordinate details, ensure sponsor needs are met Other sponsor-related initiatives, including contributing to:conceptualizing unique sponsor-related digital and experiential initiatives (e.g. marketing and social media campaigns)drafting sponsor agreements and liaising with legal counseloverseeing management of budgets as it relates to sponsor expenses and reimbursements for sponsor-related activities. Strategy and fundraising, including contributing to:renewing and upgrading current sponsorsidentifying, evaluating, and researching corporate prospects to secure new sponsorshipscreating engaging, informative, and creative proposal documents for prospective sponsorsutilizing event planning and other communications to build and grow relationships Qualifications:Bachelor\'s Degree with minimum 5-7 years of professional experience preferably in corporate fundraising, marketing, or events, including a background working directly with sponsors, donors or clients.Exceptional accuracy, speed, organization, prioritizing, and attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment with multiple hard deadlines.Customer-service skills, creating a concierge-type environment for sponsor communications.Exemplary interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in constant direct communication with donors.Ability to exhibit sound judgment, poise, diplomacy, and a creative approach to problem-solving are required to manage the needs of Carnegie Hall and sponsors simultaneously. Ability to understand corporate marketing or philanthropic goals and to match with nonprofit arts/cultural organizations’ assets, benefits, and opportunitiesComputer knowledge and experience with database management essential, preferably Tessitura.A demonstrated interest in the arts and classical music an asset.Weekend and evening hours are required during performance season.
