A busy and growing Art business in headquartered in Stamford, CT needs a Part Time person with possible full-time available if it is a good fit. The position pays $32.00 an hour and there is upwards mobility if the person is good at the job. The job requires experience handling art, making custom boxes and crates and Fed ex, UPS, DHL shipments as well as driving a van for deliveries.Must be highly organized and experienced at understanding how to pack and move art at a high level. Must have experience with art handling in specific. Must be highly trustworthy and have references.Must also have the ability to work within an art database and keep detailed information for all inventory and shipments.Will oversee daily transports between Stamford and New York City and deliveries of art within the local area.Will oversee the hanging, staging and lighting of art in the business gallery locations.Will oversee caring for the inventory, the building of in-house storage boxes.A great environment and job for the right person and level of experience with real growth potential in terms of salary.
