Job Summary:
The Manager of Upstate Robotics in this role will oversee a team responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting autonomous technology at Upstate. They will define acceptance criteria for new solutions; organize and assign work to the team; design, build, and test requirements; assess operations; and implement activities. They will also identify risks and opportunities throughout projects and help develop appropriate responses. Additionally, they will actively participate in project team meetings and promptly communicate any issues to the Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience working with autonomous machines, vehicles, or robots, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Prior supervisory experience is required. Part 107 certification is required at the time of appointment or must be obtained within one year of hire.
