The Gallery Director will oversee the gallery’s financial operations, administrative systems, HR coordination, compliance, and internal management processes. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth, compliant, and efficient day-to-day functioning of the gallery’s business operations. This position is full-time, in-person, Monday through Friday 10-7pm.Key Responsibilities- Oversee financial operations including invoicing, payments, budgeting, cash flow, and expense tracking- Coordinate with external accountants on VAT filings, audits, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance- Manage contracts, agreements, NDAs, artist contracts, and all legal and administrative documentation- Oversee HR administration including staffing coordination, onboarding, payroll support, and internal policies- Manage office administration, vendors, leases, insurance, and service providers- Maintain accurate records, databases, and internal reporting systems- Support senior leadership with financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international art trade requirements- Act as a liaison between finance, operations, legal advisors, and senior managementRequired Skills & Experience- Minimum 4 years of experience in finance, administration, or gallery/business management- Strong understanding of gallery accounting, VAT, and art-related financial workflows- Highly organized with strong documentation, reporting, and compliance skills- Experience working closely with senior leadership and external consultants- Discreet, reliable, and detail-oriented with strong professional judgment- Deep understanding of local laws and requirements
