We are in the early stages of starting an art foundation based in downtown Miami, Florida. We have a physical space that we would like to use as a studio for two to three selected artists. The foundation will function as an art residency and exhibition space. The artists selected must be emerging, contemporary artists with a special focus on Latin American artists. We are a small team of two we are looking to build out a larger team, but first we need someone with development and operations experience preferably from an institutional background. Requirements -Spanish / English Bilingual -At least 4 year experience in a managerial or director role in a prior art institution -Based in Miami, FL -Curatorial experience-Strong organizational, project management, and data skills-Experience in arts and culture nonprofits is preferred.-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.-Social media literacy and branding experience Responsibilities -Artist outreach -Write mission statement and work with a designer to develop a visual identity -Manage programming -Work with an artist liasion to work out logistics -Budget-planning -Light bookkeeping Our art foundation does not yet exist but we have funding & a physical space.
